the 2009 NYSAAE Board Recognition Award for
their support of the arts in our schools
The School Board Recognition Award is an annual award presented to
a New York State school board that has demonstrated support for,
and commitment to, high-quality arts education in its school district and community.
This state-level award recognizes districts that have included
all four major artistic disciplines - visual arts, music, theatre, and dance - in their programs
Superintendent, Dr. Evelyn Holman,
wins 2008 NYSAAE Superintendent Recognition Award! Dr. Evelyn Blose Holman was honored with the
"School Superintendent Recognition for Arts Education Leadership"
award by the New York State Alliance for Arts Education.
This prestigious award was officially bestowed upon her in
September, 2006 at a special ceremony in Albany, New York.
