Information All students in the Bay Shore school district receive instruction in art, dance, music and theater at the primary, intermediate and secondary levels. The arts curriculum is aligned with The New York State Learning Standards for The Arts and the National Standards for Arts Education. Community members are invited to attend any of our cultural arts events. From the earliest grades, students experience skill development in visual, musical and physical expression. Our Summer Music and Summer Art programs are open to all Bay Shore students. Annual art exhibits, theater productions, dance performances, band, choir and orchestra concerts demonstrate a tradition of excellence in the arts as highlighted by numerous awards and recognition at the local, state and national level.
