Mrs. Mary Louise Cohen President Mrs. Cohen is serving her 3rd term which runs from July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2009. She is married with two sons in Bay Shore Schools. After graduating from the University of Kentucky she worked in the field of Public Relations. Mrs. Cohen is a very active community member serving on Summit Council, Bay Shore Beautification Committee, member of South Country School and Middle School PFA, chair of Mothers’ Day Plant Sale and member of various committees. She is an officer in the Parents Council at Sinai Reform Temple and currently serves as secretary on the O’Co’Nee Association Board of Directors (previously served as president for 6 years). Mr. Jerry G. Berka Vice President Mr. Berka has been a Board Member since July 1, 1969, currently serving his 14th term which runs from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011. Married to Dr. Marianne Berka, a Professor at Nassau Community College and adjunct Professor at Hofstra University, they have two grown daughters, both graduates of Bay Shore Schools. An attorney with a practice in Bay Shore, he is a graduate of Bay Shore High School and class Valedictorian, attended Wesleyan University, Cornell University Law School; and served in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General Corp. Mr. Berka is a founding member and Chairman of Bay Shore Student Aide Fund and helped found the Bay Shore Historical Society. He was elected to the Bay Shore High School Alumni Hall of Fame; serves on the advisory board of Chicago Title Insurance Company; received the SCOPE Education Services “Award for Excellence in School Board Service” in March 2000; and was the recipient of the Nassau-Suffolk School Boards Association Distinguished Service Award in June 2005. To honor Mr. Berka’s long time commitment to the Bay Shore School District, the new administrative offices are named after him.	Mr. Jerry G. Berka
Mr. Andrew Arcuri Board Trustee Mr. Arcuri is presently serving his 2nd term as a Board member through June 30, 2010. Mr. Arcuri has been elected by the Board to serve as President for the 2007-08 school year. He is married with two sons who attend Bay Shore Schools. A graduate of Bay Shore High School, Stony Brook University, and Pace University School of Law, he is a partner in the law firm of Kelly, Luglio & Arcuri located in Deer Park. He is involved as a soccer coach and works to raise money for pediatric cancer research.	Mr. Andrew Arcuri
Mr. Gaetano Leggio Board Trustee Mr. Leggio is currently serving his first term which runs through June 30, 2011. He is married with three children. Guy is a life-long Bay Shore resident who graduated from Bay Shore in 1981, and works for Giaquinto Masonry. Guy is a 23 year member of the Bay Shore Fie Department and has been an American Legion member for 10 years. He coaches East Islip Varsity Wrestling.	Mr. Gaetano Leggio
Mr. Gregory Nardone Board Trustee Mr. Nardone, is currently in his 3rd term which runs from July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2009. He and his wife have two daughters and two sons, all graduates of Bay Shore Schools. Mr. Nardone, a graduate of Bay Shore High School with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Suffolk Community College, works as manager of Gas Field Operations for Keyspan. He is very involved with the community as a volunteer speaker in our schools; volunteer consultant with Junior Achievement Organization of New York; St. Patrick’s parishioner and active in several ministries; 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus; member of the Bay Shore Fire Department Hook and Ladder Company for 30 years; member of the Bay Shore High School Alumni Association; and a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Bay Shore.
